ALMA MUSICA,…
an ambitious project that was selected by the European Commission as part of the funding to support European cultural mobility in 2024 & that redefined the boundaries of classical music!
Our formation, comprised of the OBBA Oboe Band from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy, and the versatile mezzo-soprano Ricarda Gross Khachaturian from Berlin, Germany, combines tonal brilliance and artistic innovation in a unique way.
Under the direction of oboist & Maestro Serena Gani, we presented an unprecedented musical experience with a repertoire ranging from Baroque to Classical, with a focus on the 18th century, including works by composers such as Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Mozart and Rossini. The idea of uniting a singer with an double reed orchestra was not only an artistic innovation but also a cultural revolution that was amazing the classical scene in 2024.
The concert series of ALMA MUSICA under the title EUROPA UNITA, supported by Culture Moves Europe, has garnered attention across Europe.
Thanks for joining us on this musical journey and supporting ALMA MUSICA as we strive to transcend the boundaries of music and enchant the world with unforgettable melodies.
